Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it had no ill effects on the fox. That’s the because the fox has a more tasteful form of curiosity, one that is smart and selective.

Fun Foodie Facts:

  • All of the beers on tap come from within a 15 mile radius of the hotel.
  • The brownie came to fruition back in 1893, when local socialite Bertha Palmer, wife to Potter Palmer (of the Palmer House fame), charged her pastry chef with concocting a dessert that was suitable for ladies attending the Columbian Exposition (aka the Chicago World’s Fair) to have.
  • The ground Copper Fox is built on is actually the childhood home of Edward Stone, who was the first American soldier killed in WW1.
  • Copper Fox does have a cocktail they crafted in his honor called the Sour Eddie.
