Founded By: Stephanie Hart after she recreated her grandmother’s delicious recipes.

Fun Foodie Facts:

• Stephanie’s grandmother was a huge influence on her, and made her want to get into baking.  
• When she started baking, Stephanie wanted to create that feeling – a cake you couldn’t get, that adults wouldn’t give you. In a way, Stephanie’s culinary career has been a journey to recreate grandma’s cake.
• It took several years of trial and error for Stephanie to “get it right.”  The caramel cake was especially difficult to figure out – but it’s soooo good, which is why we feature it on our tour!
• At Chicago Food Planet, we believe that we create amazing food memories and that’s exactly the same thing Stephanie tries to do with her baked goods! It’s the perfect partnership.
