Back of the Yards Rub & Lake Shore Drive Seasoning

If one flavor combination could represent The Spice House, it is this hard-working butcher’s rub. Back of the Yards is their most popular blend and is inspired by the historic meatpacking district in Chicago. Lake Shore Drive Shallot & Herb Seasoning is inspired by the glorious green foliage along the shores of Lake Michigan. This seasoning includes chives, scallions, green peppercorns, and shallots and adds an elegant but bold finish to dishes such as fish, omelettes, and vegetables.

Fun Foodie Facts:

  • The Ethnic Chicago line of seasonings were created to reflect the background and favorite flavors of various immigrant groups brought from the homeland as they joined the “melting pot” of Chicago.
