Take an easy stroll through Wrigleyville, home of the Chicago Cubs and the landmark historical Wrigley Field. The Chicago neighborhood known as Wrigleyville is not only the home of the Chicago Cubs, but also a fun and vibrant area filled with many bars, activities, restaurants, stores and more! Located a few miles north of The Loop, Wrigleyville is part of the central Lakeview neighborhood and is named for historic Wrigley Field which, when built in 1914, drew droves of people to the area. You’ll get a detailed view of the community focused Gallagher Way that has become the central hub of the Wrigleyville neighborhood.
Your tour starts right across from the historic ballpark and provides guests with a unique perspective of what is a baseball centric neighborhood that has a varied past. Along the way you will stop by many local eateries to sample everything from brunch classics like vegetable quiche to instagram-worthy buffalo chicken waffle cones. I really enjoyed leaning from our tour guide David about the history of Chicago, specifically the Wrigleyville area. The food and drink samples were excellent! I would definitively recommend this tour to anyone living in Chicago or visiting.
